Hi, I’m Eric Junge
I’m a former professional baseball player, current throwing instructor with the San Diego Padres and founder of Pitch IQ. As I wrapped up my playing career back in 2012, a new era of power & velocity was being ushered into our game, taking hold and relentlessly driving on-field performance to new heights. I realized that not only had I retired at the perfect time (ha!) but any player lacking resources or access to pro-coaching, didn’t stand a chance at keeping up.
After 75+ years in dugouts, buses and clubhouses around the world, we’ve been able to aggregate our experiences into this simple to follow throwing blueprint that simply works.
That’s why Pitch IQ was conceived. To provide access and knowledge to aspiring ball players looking to break barriers to entry, get the right information & training tools and to offer anyone the chance to work with a pro-pitching coach right in their back pocket.
